I designed this piece for the The White Shirt Anne Fontaine competition at Massachusetts College of Art and Design in my sophomore year, the piece earned me a finalist placement and the award for Best Romantic Fantasy. The top is constructed from dead stock Anne Fontaine cotton poplin, featuring floral-inspired gauze ruffles with a metal wire interior in order to fully manipulate the shape of the ruffles.
